Poker is more than a game of luck — it's a test of strategy, psychology, and self-discipline. That's why poker continues to grow as one of the most popular online games in Malaysia, and minion88 is here as the platform that delivers the most complete poker experience for local players. Whether you're a casual player who sits down once a week or a serious grinder who logs hours at the table, minion88 has something for you.
When you register at minion88, you immediately gain access to over 320 active poker tables at any given time. These tables cover a wide range of stakes — starting from low-limit RM1/RM2 tables suited for those just learning the game, to mid-stakes RM25/RM50 tables for players who already have a solid foundation, and high-stakes RM500/RM1,000 tables exclusively for VIP players seeking a real challenge. This structure ensures every player can compete at a comfortable level without pressure to move up too quickly.
Texas Hold'em is the most popular format at minion88, and for good reason — it's the same format featured in world-class tournaments like the World Series of Poker (WSOP). At minion88, you can play Texas Hold'em as a ring game where you can join and leave the table at any time, or in a structured tournament format with a clear blind schedule. For those looking for something with a bit more complexity, Omaha Hi-Lo is an exciting challenge — four hole cards instead of two means stronger hands can be built, and the winning potential is even greater.
One of minion88's standout features is its clean, responsive interface. Our poker tables are built to run smoothly across all devices — Android and iOS smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Fluid card animations, clearly labeled action buttons, and a well-organized player info display make every session enjoyable without any technical hiccups. The default action timer is 30 seconds per round, with the option to extend it in select tournaments when needed.
The financial side is another area where minion88 truly stands out. All transactions are conducted entirely in MYR. You can fund your poker account via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, FPX through Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks, Boost, and ShopeePay. The minimum deposit is just RM10 — enough to get you started at the low-stakes tables. Winnings are processed within 5 to 15 minutes of approval, paid directly to your eWallet or bank account.
For players serious about improving their game, minion88 hosts daily freerolls starting every night at 9 PM. These free tournaments are open to all registered members at no buy-in cost, yet offer real cash prizes of up to RM5,000. It's the ideal opportunity to refine your strategy, get comfortable with the interface, and experience the feel of tournament play with zero financial risk. New players are strongly encouraged to start here before moving on to paid tables.
The minion88 poker community is growing fast. Every day, tens of thousands of players from across Malaysia — Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor Bahru, Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching — log in to compete. You can browse other players' profiles, check their win records, and pick up tips from more experienced hands. minion88 also has an internal forum where members share tips, hand analyses, and tournament strategies — a lively, active community.
Security is something minion88 never compromises on. Our platform uses 256-bit SSL encryption across all data communications. The random number generator (RNG) that determines card deck order has been independently audited and certified, ensuring every hand dealt is fully random and no player gains an unfair edge. Our anti-collusion system continuously monitors suspicious betting patterns, and any account found to be colluding is blocked immediately.
